When I graduated from Seth Godin’s AltMBA program I vowed to write every day.  And I have- but secretly.  I think its time to be brave and share thoughts with the world and engage in real dialogue.

Why did I wait a year?  In a word: Resistance.  This is a concept that I discovered through the writing of Steven Pressfield in “The Art of War”, and is very important to understanding procrastination.  For the record, I never procrastinate about anything but my writing.  Why is that?

Where there is a Dream, there is Resistance.

Thus: where we encounter Resistance, somewhere nearby is a Dream.

(from Pressfields’s excellent blog post/)

One year later, I’m finally ready and I thank you for joining me on this writing journey.  I promise to be open, not self-censor too much, and to write with as much passion and courage as I can muster.

The topics on these pages will cover my love of books, activism, the arts, the interesting mix of life and culture in upstate NY, and some getaways (not enough of those, but as many as happen!). Faith is the underlying framework for everything I do- more on that in the next blog.

I encourage you to write to me publicly or privately and connect on social media as well

Cheers!
